Officer/Executive, Accounts (RRF_MMW_017)

JOB DESCRIPTION

To ensure that the financial practices observed by Mosque Finance Officers follow the MUIS Mosque Financial Regulations and the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and the timely closure of the monthly Mosque accounts and liase with the auditors for Annual Audit.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong understanding of basic Bookkeeping Principles, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger maintenance and reconciliation of Financial records
  • Skills in analyzing Financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement which includes Financial ratio analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

 

Secondary Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients ad external stakeholders
  • Good communication (written and verbal) skills in order to prepare reports and emails to discuss on Financial matters
  • Independent, self-motivated, highly organized and possessing an eye for detail;
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexible, team player and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Excellent time management

 

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years relevant Accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Proficient in Accounting software (Quickbooks is an added advantage)
  • Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently with a strong customer service mindset

To design common support standards towards continuous quality improvements, system administration and controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mandatory Skills

  • Troubleshoot and provide support for production application software and systems.
  • Provide first-level support for IT-related issues on the production floor.
  • Provide maintenance support for production software applications.
  • Actively participate in software development and system testing processes.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of software applications with basic QMS standard.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standard operating procedures.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of our support service
  • Assist in IT strategies including application system (Opensource + Propietry), and infrastructure to support the Business Unit.
  • Analyze, design, program, test, document and maintain IT systems or applications which align with business needs by using SQL script/other software tools.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all necessary analysis tools and report that are provided to management for analysis in optimal decision-making

  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent and at least 3- 5 years experience of relevant IT experience
  • Experience in stakeholders, vendors end-users and project management.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience through full project lifecycles.
  • Good understanding of Object-oriented programming (OOP) Languages eg. SQL, Java, C++, C#, Python, R, PHP, NET, JavaScript, etc
  • Familiarity with the AWS Infrastructure, CMS platform (WordPress), Cloud Hosting, Microsoft Office 365 stack, Backup & Disaster Recovery Methodology Framework
  • Familiar with VLAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing and some ISP management & Networking topology
  • Experience with monitoring applications using Security and Performance System Tools
  • Proven experience in providing functional application support, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.

A Technical leading role who is part of a team who manages infrastructure services, Project deliveries, IT operations and service delivery management within the organization and its entities.

Executing, administering, and maintaining all IT-related projects, systems, and processes. To utilize relevant IT and related expertise in ensuring work effectiveness throughout the above-mentioned function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mandatory Skills

  • Assist in sourcing of vendor and software.
  • Ensure all requirements are aligned with internal stakeholders and communicated to vendors.
  • Be involved in tender process and technical evaluation of proposals submitted.
  • Perform end-to-end procurement activities that include sourcing, evaluating and contract management in accordance with policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with the policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Ensure proper keeping of the departmental documents for audit purposes.
  • Review, streamline and optimise current process gaps and manual steps, drive efficiency and introduce best practices into the project.
  • Gather feedback throughout project implementation stages to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and track the scope, timeliness, milestones and committed deliverables.
  • Identify project risks (internal and external), develop mitigation plans with the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely execution of the risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure project risks impacting scope, time, quality and cost of deliverables and contingencies are discussed through the appropriate escalation process in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise. Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost with appropriate escalation and approvals.
  • Facilitate change request process with vendor.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a collaborative culture.
  • Work with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful project outcome.
  • Obtain stakeholders buy-in while ensuring that they are aware of the responsibilities and deliverables, including the associated deadlines.
  • Be involved in User Acceptance Test and ensure any related integrations work well.
  • Facilitate training of staff and vendors on new system.
  • Monitor system performance and effectiveness post Go-Live.

Secondary Skills
