JOB DESCRIPTION
To ensure and promote, the integration of IT with key business functional departments, resulting in better alignment and the successful delivery of operational solutions within the organization and its entities. To design common support standards towards continuous quality improvements, system administration and controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mandatory Skills
- Troubleshoot and provide support for production application software and systems.
- Provide first-level support for IT-related issues on the production floor.
- Provide maintenance support for production software applications.
- Actively participate in software development and system testing processes.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of software applications with basic QMS standard.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standard operating procedures.
- Involve in various stages of SDLC
- Involved in gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing systems and applications.
- Support system configuration, customization and implementation.
- Act as an intermediary between key stakeholders, developers, vendors, and end users.
- Present key insights and recommendations to stakeholders with regards to improving business processes and efficiencies
- Provide exceptional functional application support to domestic business users as well as regional and international teams.
- Multiple Email Management; Google + Microsoft 365 enviroment account based
- Domain Management & SSL Certificate Issuance/ Renewal
- Diagnose and resolve functional issues reported by end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse and address application-related challenges.
- Document and escalate complex issues to higher-level support or development teams, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of our support service
- Assist in IT strategies including application system (Opensource + Propietry), and infrastructure to support the Business Unit.
- Analyze, design, program, test, document and maintain IT systems or applications which align with business needs by using SQL script/other software tools.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all necessary analysis tools and report that are provided to management for analysis in optimal decision-making
Secondary Skills
- Administer the launching of new frontend or backend systems, IT-relevant projects, resources and vendor management.
- To ensure that the communication links between the various offices and stores are in optimal working condition, including maintaining and managing an effective fault reporting system.
- To maintain and ensure system security and data integrity.
- Maintenance of all software and IT-related warranty and licenses used by the company.
- Administer and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure on routers, wireless AP, IP Phone and firewall.
- Ensure that all networks (including internet and wireless), systems, security and application infrastructure are running efficiently.
- Implement change requests and application enhancement to the ERP system.
- Experience with Remedy, Services-Now, JIRA or other Incident Management systems
- Good communication (written and verbal) and people skills;
- Independent, self-motivated, highly organized and possessing an eye for detail;
- Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple projects simultaneously;
- Flexible, team player and able to work with minimum supervision;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent and at least 3- 5 years experience of relevant IT experience
- Experience in stakeholders, vendors end-users and project management.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience through full project lifecycles.
- Good understanding of Object-oriented programming (OOP) Languages eg. SQL, Java, C++, C#, Python, R, PHP, NET, JavaScript, etc
- Familiarity with the AWS Infrastructure, CMS platform (WordPress), Cloud Hosting, Microsoft Office 365 stack, Backup & Disaster Recovery Methodology Framework
- Familiar with VLAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing and some ISP management & Networking topology
- Experience with monitoring applications using Security and Performance System Tools
- Proven experience in providing functional application support, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
1 year contract, convertible to permanent position.
Preferably to be bilingual in English and Malay (in order to coordinate with various English and Malay speaking stakeholders and clients)
